The 2022 Tucson looks very different as it is an all-new generation model. The new design of the Tucson along with the Parametric grille definitely grabs a lot of attention. The grille gets integrated LED DRLs and the car also comes with all-LED headlamps.
Hyundai has also updated the bumper of the all-new Tucson. The profile of the new model gets deep creases all over that complement the overall sharp design of the new Tucson. There are blacked-out pillars giving the floating-roof effect. The sleek all-LED tail lamps are connected with a LED strip, which is what we saw with the Venue facelift too.
The new Tucson also gets brand-new alloy wheels and with a contrasting roof rail, it sure looks like an interesting package. Hyundai also sprinkled a good amount of chrome surrounds on the windows that add a premium touch.
Luxurious cabin
Hyundai has also updated the cabin of the all-new Tucson with a slew of features. Starting with the massive 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system that gets Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with Hyundai BlueLink connected car technology, the Tucson gets a long list.
The controls of climate control systems are capacitive touch-based. Also, the car gets ambient lighting and an e-parking brake and a switch to select the modes of the transmission. The new Tucson gets a light-coloured leather upholstery that sure makes the cabin look much more premium. The Tucson also comes with a panoramic sunroof.
There are many other luxurious features including hands-free tailgate operation. The electric tailgate opens and closes without touching the boot lid.
ADAS features
The all-new Hyundai Tucson will be available with LEVEL-2 ADAS autonomous driving system. The system will use onboard cameras and a radar system. Hyundai Tucson offers a slew of ADAS features including Autonomous Emergency Braking, lane-keep indicator, adaptive cruise control, speed sign reading and more. It will be first Hyundai car to offer ADAS in India.
Both petrol & diesel engine options
Hyundai offers a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine and a 2.0-litre diesel engine option. These are the updated version of the engines available with the previous version of the car. With the petrol engine, the Tucson gets power of 152 PS while with the diesel, the power rises to 185 PS. The petrol unit will come with a six-speed automatic transmission while the diesel engine will get an 8-speed automatic transmission. There is no manual transmission available with the new Tucson.
