This week our video is short and sweet, but totally killer. We’re talking Google AdWords again and specifically, we’re talking about SiteLinks.

Just a couple weeks back, Google facelifted AdWords sitelinks making them a carousel tappable format. But wait…. there’s more.

In addition to the tappable carousel format, Google doubled the number of sitelinks you can show on search ads from 4 to 8!!!

Is this really so important or cool?

Okay, fair enough. Maybe it doesn’t fit your cool category, but it is very important. You hear me talk about ad extensions all the time right?


Well, sitelinks and Ad Extensions are in my opinion, the big game changers on the front or customer facing side of a dealers ads. You know how much preference Google now gives to paid search on the mobile side… having twice as many sitelinks to get searchers to exactly the right page is really important. And, on mobile phones and tablets the 8 sitelinks show up on a single line carousel format that searchers can swipe left or right to browse the sitelinks!

Okay, that is cool and super important. My SEO team actually builds a lot of model research and content pages for dealers that can and should be used as sitelinks if you’re running PPC campaigns.
