Kia Sonet: Clear pictures of brochure reveals all

Kia has officially started accepting the bookings for the all-new upcoming Sonet. While the price announcement will happen sometime later, Kia is yet to officially announce the variant details and features of the upcoming Sonet too. Well, after unclear pictures of the brochure revealed a few details about the upcoming Kia Sonet, here are a few more pictures that clearly show the brochure details.

The all-new Sonet will follow the variant strategy of the Kia Seltos. To start with, it will be divided into two major segments – Tech Line and GT Line. The GT Line segment will only offer a single variant. The GT Line variant will be fully loaded with segment-first features like ventilated seats in the front, Bose speakers, full LED headlamps and tail lamps.

The base version HTE will come with 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine option. Only manual transmission options will be available. It will come with 15-inch steel rims, halogen headlamps, fabric seat upholstery, manual AC, tilt steering, rear AC vents, 3.5-inch mono colour MID, front and rear USB charging port, front door power windows and electronically adjustable ORVMs. It will come with features like dual airbags, ABS with EBD and rear parking sensors.

HTK will be the mid-level variants and it will be available with a few optional features as well. The car will come with 16-inch steel rims, follow-me headlamps, semi-leatherette seats with contrasting stitching, height-adjustable driver’s seat, rear door power windows, keyless entry, sunglass holder, 2DIN audio system, Bluetooth, steering-mounted controls.

The optional variants of the HTK also get additional features like projector headlamps, automatic headlamps, LED ORVM turn signal, leather-wrapped gear knob for AT and DCT variants, power-folding ORVMs, driver-side one-touch auto up/down, one touch down for the driver side, 8.0-inch infotainment screen wireless phone projection, 2 tweeters, ESC, hill start, brake assist, traction control and drive modes with (DCT). Rear defogger, rear parcel tray, front and rear faux skid plate, roof rails, shark fin antenna, chrome on the radiator grille.

The HTX and HTX variants are the top-end versions of the Tech Line. The without option variants come with LED headlamps with LED DRLs, LED tail lamps electric sunroof, smart key with push-button start-stop, back and beige interior upholstery, remote engine start via smart key, cruise control, chrome on outside handles, silver garnish on doors, ISOFIX mounting points, a rear-seat armrest, adjustable.

The HTX Plus comes with 16-inch alloy wheels, LED sound mood lighting, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with UVO connected car tech, Smartwatch connectivity, AI voice recognition, Bose 7-speaker system, ventilated front seats, air purifier, two-tone roof, 4.2-inch colour MID, tyre pressure monitoring system.

The top-end GTX+ variant will get all the bells and whistles and a more aggressive design. red accents on the grille, bumper, side skirts, blacked-out skid plate, all-black interior, six airbags, sporty alloy pedals, front parking sensors, ESC, hill start assist, brake assist, traction control and drive modes.
